Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., said “it makes no difference” whether House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., or House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., is speaker in light of the failure of Republicans to stall the Democrats’ agenda.

“We are passing the Democratic agenda each and every day that we’re here. We have a slim majority in the House. And … everything’s being passed overwhelmingly with Democrat support. So it makes no difference to me if it’s Hakeem Jeffries as speaker or Mike Johnson right now,” Boebert told CNN on Tuesday.

For the past several weeks, Boebert’s colleague Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., has threatened to remove Johnson from his post over what she considers his failure to implement a conservative agenda. On Wednesday, Greene told reporters she would demand a vote next week on the motion to vacate that she filed March 22.
