ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — Two men will serve life sentences in the 2022 murder of a six-year-old in Orangeburg County.
Ethan Anderson and Jerimiah Harley pled guilty to firing at least 21 shots into a McClain Street home on May 13 in the town of North.

Winston Hunter was sitting on a couch in the living room when he was hit by the gunfire, according to Solicitor David Pascoe.
Hunter's father and 12-year-old brother tried to render aid, but he died on the scene.
According to the Solicitor's Office, Harley fled to New York in the vehicle used during the shooting and was taken into custody by officers with the Ontario County Sheriff's Office during a traffic stop two weeks later.

Anderson, was taken into custody in Gaston, South Carolina and implicated Harley in the crime.
The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office found three guns believed to used during the incident that were matched to shell casing found at the scene, according to a release.
Law enforcement officials also recovered "a large number of text messages and social media evidence implicating both Anderson and Harley."
The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office, the North Police Department, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, and the Ontario County Sheriff's Office in New York assisted in the investigation.
