South Carolina adds over 1,500 new cases, 26 new deaths from COVID-19

South Carolina tacked on over 1,500 new cases on Saturday, with over 25 new deaths from COVID-19. The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 1,530 new confirmed cases, 60 new probable cases, 26 new confirmed deaths and 18 new probable deaths. This brings the confirmed case total to 192,645, probable case total to 12,373, confirmed deaths to 3,974 and probable deaths to 300. Out of 13,693 tests reported on Friday, 11. 2 percent of them came back positive.
