SC House bill calls for statewide 5-day in-person school option

A bill that requires an option for face-to-face 5-day instruction at public schools during the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic was introduced to the S. C. House of Representatives on Tuesday. It would also require that districts consider all employees, including teachers, as essential workers. The bill reads that regardless of grade level, students must have the option for face-to-face instruction that is five days each week at 4K-12 schools.
