A North Charleston woman recently won $100,000 from a $3 scratch-off lottery ticket.

She purchased it at Carolina Spirits on Dorchester Road, a lottery spokesperson said. The woman reportedly waited a couple of days after buying it to scratch it.

She is the second person to win $100,000 or more this month. Another lottery player won $200,000 a little more than five miles away at the Happy Liquor Store on Rivers Avenue.
