DHEC: 414 COVID-19 cases within SC schools

The new year is still getting underway for many South Carolina students, but there are already hundreds of COVID-19 cases across the state’s schools. On Tuesday, DHEC reported that there were 414 cases associated with South Carolina schools. Of these, 275 were among students and 139 were among school employees. Residents can visit DHEC’s website to check for any active cases within their schools. The figures will be updated every Tuesday and Friday, according to the department.
