Berkeley County Sheriff's Office seeks help in unsolved 2021 homicide case

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Public help is needed in solving a homicide case that has remained unsolved for three years by the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.

On April 23, 2021, deputies responded to 100 Callen Boulevard at Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital about a man arriving at the location to be treated for a gunshot wound. The man would go on to die and be identified as 28-year-old Johntay Weathers.

Preliminary investigations revealed the shooting potentially occurred in the Longbridge area of Berkeley County.
