WTMA has been serving Charleston since June 15, 1939. Since June 1, 1989 we’ve been the Low Country’s source for the finest talk radio, 24 hours a day. Turn to 1250 WTMA for breaking news from our correspondents all around the world and one of the state’s best local radio news teams. You’ll also find stimulating talk with engaging local and national hosts.

WTMA is licensed to Charleston, South Carolina, and broadcasts on 1250 AM with 5000 non-directional watts of power day, 1000 directional watts of power night. We serve the Low Country region of South Carolina, which includes Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties.

Head east on Coleman Blvd. towards Chuck Dawley Blvd. Take the 1st left onto Chuck Dawley Blvd/I-526 BUS W/US-17 BUS N/US-701 BUS N. Continue onto I-526 W. Take Exit 14 for Leeds Avenue. Turn Right at Leeds Avenue. Turn Left at Faber Place Drive. Studios will be the 2nd Building on your Right.

FROM SUMMERVILLE:

I-26 East to Charleston. Take exit 212B to merge onto I-526W towards Savannah. Take exit 14 for Leeds Avenue. Turn right at Leeds Avenue. Turn Left onto Faber Place Drive. Studios will be the 2nd Building on your Right.
