(CHARLESTON, S.C.) -- On Wednesday, Charleston is host to the Warrior Ride, a group of Wounded Warriors who travel on adapted bicycles to generate support for wounded veterans, The Post and Courier reports.
The Warrior Ride is made up of 30 veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
They started their parade at Waterfront Park in Mount Pleasant on Wednesday morning, and traveled to The Citadel, were there was a ceremony at 10 a.m. They will tour Lowcounty for the next two days. Residents of Lowcounty can show their support by cheering along the parade when it goes by.
