(NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C.) -- A man has died after being shot in North Charleston on Thursday.

The shooting occurred on Saratoga Road and prompted some schools in the area to be placed on lockdown while police investigated the incident.

The victim -- identified by the Charleston County Coroner's Office in published reports as 19-year-old Rodriguez Henderson -- was taken to an area hospital, where he eventually died.

Police say two men were seen running from the scene, however, there have been no arrests.
