WTMA 70th Birthday Broadcasts
In June of 2009 WTMA celebrated our 70th Birthday (and 20th Anniversary as a News/Talk Station) with special Morning Buzz broadcasts featuring WTMA on-air alumni.
On June 1, former WTMA morning man Dan Moon was Richard Todd's guest for the 9:00 hour.
On June 4, our 9 a.m. hour guest was WTMA 1960s/70s air personality Booby Nash.
On June 15, former WTMA on-air personnel were seen (and heard) in our 8:00 and 9:00 hours, including Bill Sharpe, Booby Nash, Gery London, Terry Allen, Bill Quinn, John Burwell and Kirk Varner.
